Jason’s Bakery

Average cost for two: R200

My husband and I finally got a chance to try out the much hyped up Jason’s Bakery. At nine am there was already a long line of hungry Capetonian’s trying to get a take away coffee and I presume a much anticipated pastry!

We were lucky enough to grab the last two seats at the counter, where we were met with a delighted smile from a very flustered waitress - she too, enjoying the morning rush. The setting for Jason’s is fitting for its location and the city bustle both inside and out, compliments the youthful vibe of the place.

Couple that with the most delicious coffee, mouthwatering savoury bites and a childlike excitement for freshly baked pastries, I’ll definitely be back!
